Hands-on cooking class led by culinary instructors in which you will learn the benefits of developing your cooking skills as an important first step toward personal wellness. Improve your cooking skills, learn new techniques, hone your recipe adaptation and trouble-shooting skills, and develop healthy cooking and eating strategies to take home and use for weeks and years to come.

Each four week session includes weekly 2-hour labs where you will learn cooking methods, technique instruction, basic nutrition, food safety, time-saving strategies, recipe adaptation, organization and food storage. Each class ends with a shared healthy meal that you and your fellow classmates prepare. Participants will also be required to cook in their home kitchens and post about the experience to a class blog. Assignments will include recipe challenges to hone cooking skills and increase confidence.
