4 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
1/8 cup chopped garlic (about 5 cloves)
1 – 2 inches fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped or grated
¼ cup tamari
2 tablespoons tahini
Juice from 1/2 lemon (~2 tablespoons)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
- Sauté ginger and garlic in 2 tablespoons of olive oil for 2 to 3 minutes to infuse the oil with the flavors. Set aside to cool.
- Whisk the remaining oil with the tamari, tahini, lemon juice, and maple syrup. Then add the cooled ginger and garlic.
